Chris is an industry veteran with over 25 years in technical and executive roles for private and public oil and gas companies.
His experience spans reserves, production and operations management, investor and stakeholder relations, fund raising (including IPO), acquisitions and divestitures, exploration, green-fields and brown-fields development. He has worked in onshore and offshore conventional and unconventional oil and gas and CSG fields in Australia, Asia, the UK and USA.
Prior to founding Aithon, Chris was Chief Operating Officer of ASX listed Strike Energy, where he built a safety and cost conscious team, both in the office and field. Operating programs comprised drilling, fracture stimulation and completion, facilities and extended testing. These activities delivered as designed without material incident and at progressively lower cost.
Chris founded Aithon in 2017 to provide not just a technical or commercial resource, but a combined suite of energy advisory services. His network provides the expertise required to support and advise clients, whether energy producers, customers or financiers.
Aithon comes from the Greek meaning fire or burning. Aithon is a mythological war-horse of the Greek gods.
